Accenture (ACN), a professional services provider, reported fiscal Q4 earnings of $1.58 per share, up from $1.48 in the same period a year ago and topping the estimate of $1.56 from analysts polled by CapIQ.
For the quarter ended Aug. 31 total revenue of $10.64 billion was up from $9.64 billion in the same period a year ago and exceeded the Street projection of $10.01 billion.
Accenture expects Q1 revenue in the range of $10.35 billion to $10.65 billion, exceeding the Street projection of $10.18 billion.
For fiscal 2019, the company expects revenue to increase 5% to 8% from $41.60 billion in 2018. The guidance implies a range of $43.68 billion to $44.03 billion, exceeding the Street estimate of $42.11 billion. The company expects EPS in the range of $6.98 to $7.25, missing the Street estimate of $7.28.
Accenture’s board approved a semi-annual cash dividend of $1.46 per share, an increase of $0.13 per share, or 10%, over its previous semi-annual dividend.
